One of my friend on "Facebook" has posted up a status stating the following:

Being a “Minister of Music”

25% Music

Many have failed because they’ve got that backwards.

What a profound statement.  In reading this statement, God has shown me a powerful insight of the office of Minister of Music.

Having such a power position, you would have to prepare for the services you provide.  Let’s look at 75% People. In regards to that, we are dealing with spirits. We all are spirits, we have a soul and live in a body.  The battle is the soul within.  What makes good music is what comes from the soul of the person. The struggles as well as the victories in life.  That’s how you produce good written songs.  Songs are testimonies or a cry of inner struggles or the outer distractions of life.  

All of this and to top it all off, you have to select good music by the leading of the Lord.  Pressure, right?  Look at it as a good thing, pure gold comes from pressure.

Get lost in God's Presence (Freedom in the Spirit)

Have you sat down and meditated wondering what is the purpose of this life? As for me, my purpose in life is to promote what God is to me. God is LOVE. There's no other love like it. I know for myself, He's been in my life when I was planted in my mother's womb. My daddy told me since I was a baby, I was made out of love. I knew for myself, God's been there from the beginning. The more I think about the goodness of Jesus, it is mind blowing. Not only I was a premmie, He has performed miracles continuously in my life. I look forward spending my days with my Lord. Even in the midst of chaos, I find myself creating my center with peace. I focus on more than meets the eyes. I focus on the spiritual level. That's where I meet my Lord. I get lost in His Presence, knowing that I am safe.
